COMMITTED TO BRIDGING THE CHURCH
TO THE LOCAL FOSTER CARE SYSTEM
The 1.27 National Network is a network of independent Christian ministries that bridge local churches to kids and families connected to local foster care. Each ministry in the network is uniquely structured and engaged to meet ministry opportunities surrounding foster care in their community.

WHAT WE DO
The 1.27 National Network brings together professionals who are bridging the Christian church with the local foster care system. We do this in a number of ways.
IDEA SHARING
Member organizations are doing similar bridge ministry work, but in different communities around the country. We want to share our best practices with others so we accomplish our common mission of preparing the Church to serve kids and families connected to foster care.
|
COACHING
One-on-one leadership coaching along with topic-based studies and cohorts allow member organizations’ staff to get targeted training specific to bridge ministry work. We want all of our training to include leadership development, bridge ministry relevance, and spiritual growth.
|
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
Bridge ministry work can feel lonely. Members work in their own local communities where they often feel like lone rangers bridging churches to foster care. Having a network of other people doing the same type of work, facing similar challenges, giving each other encouragement is invaluable.

“The 1.27 National Network was crucial as we launched D.C. 1.27. They helped us work through our questions as we launched and offered continual encouragement and prayer. Project 1.27 has been a constant source of encouragement and a reminder that what we're doing is possible- it is possible to be a place where no child is waiting for a home.”
